It took the family a long time to win the heart of a neighborhood stray. After the cat decided to move in with them, she brought them five tiny surprises. Meet Mrs. Wigglesworth! Two newborn ginger kittens were found in a trash bag inside a garbage can. "I took them in that day and they became a part of our family. They are wonderful," Cathy McCaughan told Love Meow. Their wet fur made them look like just hatched chickens. I pulled the car over to check on them four times between the Oak Ridge trash collection office and my West Knoxville vet. Hitting a stray dog can be a horrible experience, and the guilt that fills us can be unbearable. Recovering from that kind of ordeal can take a long time, especially for the dog if it’s managed to survive. And this dog did, but not in the way that you expect. A man who was driving his car in China hit a dog, and believed that it had run away or had died in the process. What he didn’t know was that the dog had gotten caught in his front bumper. He didn’t realized this until he heard barking coming from the front of his car and found the stuck pooch.  Take a look at these images!   He drove 248 miles to the nearest vet’s office to have the dog checked out, and when it turned out that everything was okay, the man adopted the poor pup and took him home the same day.
