In this AMAZING video from the Humane Society of Missouri, the Disaster
Response Team’s Brian Thomas and Patience Scanlon save a kitty who has a
miraculous story.
In the middle of a flooded trailer in Fenton, Missouri, they spot a
tortie cat floating on top of her little box! The tiny survivor managed
to survive the wreckage and water (and we all know how much cats hate
water!) by finding the one place where she could find safety — the top
of her litter box!
They poke their way in and use a pole to fish out the litter box closer
to the window. Then, they grab the crying kitten and bring him to
safety.
“The disaster team rescued four cats by boat, and the Humane Society of
Missouri is providing emergency shelter for nearly 60 animals whose
families were displaced by the flooding,” HSMO said. It’s a wonder that
this kitty found safety… and saviors! Watch below!
