No One Expected this Kitten Born with a Broken Heart to Survive. A Year Later... Look at Her Now

Millie the kitty was born with a very delicate heart and wasn't expected to survive birth. But this little calico with a broken heart has the bravest heart of all. A year later... Look at her now!

"Millie is the most perfect kitten in the world," Millie's family wrote via imgur. "From the beginning it was clear something was wrong. She was born with Tetralogy of Fallot, a heart condition with four serious defects."

No one expected the tiny calico to survive but she made it through. "She wasn't supposed to survive birth but still made a good go at playing with her brothers."

She is a lovebug and always keeps her brothers and humans company.

This is her favorite place to curl up in her new home.

"At a month she was far too small for the 'big cat' bowls and the vets were sure she wasn't going to make it."

"Millie was always very playful but she kept getting out of breath and we were told she wouldn't make it to six months."

But this brave little gal proved them wrong. She kept beating the odds and living her life to the fullest.

"Millie always bounds up to you when she thinks something exciting is happening... or there's a chance for some tuna."

"She's much bigger now and can eat from the proper bowls!"

"For a few weeks she was very ill and just lay about gasping for breath... After a very worried night for us, staying up syringing water into her mouth, she started to improve a bit."

Clyde the cat watching over his little sister with lots of purrs and snuggles.

Other kitties in the house also take care of her.

It's been one year since this little miracle kitten came into this world. No one expected she would survive. Look at her now!

Love may just be the perfect medicine to mend a broken heart. Share this story.

Woman Saves Kitten from Death Row in the Nick of Time and Turns Her Life Around with Love

A kind-hearted woman rescued a tiny ginger kitten 30 minutes before death row. The kitty was afraid and in poor shape, but the woman turned her life around with love.

Meet Angel Bug and her rescuer Mama J!

A ginger kitten was dropped off at an animal shelter in August, 2015. She was unable to eat and was frightened with human contact. Just a few days after she arrived in the shelter, she was put on death row.

Mama J from Furever Home Kitty Rescue was able to obtain an emergency release for the tiny kitten, and rescued her in the nick of time.

"When I first saw Angel Bug, a transporter met me with her in a parking lot. I transferred her to my carrier. As I looked at her head and saw how swollen it was in front I was very worried," Mama J told Love Meow.

Soon they discovered that the kitten had a neurological deficit due to trauma, and the little furry fighter was blind and hard of hearing.

"During the three days until the neuro appointment I never left her side. She was carried in a sling pouch in my body and I slept with her in a basket on the sofa with my body shielding her from the edge," Mama J said.

The little ginger girl felt so comforted and loved for the first time with Mama J by her side. She began to purr and couldn't get enough of cuddles.

Angel Bug was very skinny but she had so much fight in her.

"I syringe fed her every few hours because she couldn't eat on her own." Angel Bug couldn't see and hear very well, "so I touched her gently and frequently to reassure her she was safe and loved," Mama J told Love Meow.

Mama J showed her unconditional love and Angel Bug started to thrive.

"It is why I made the sling carry for her so she could constantly feel that she was safe and could rest.
"She would sleep while she was being carried."

"Once she started moving around, she wanted to eat on her own but every time she lowered her head to the dish it world twist to the left almost over her shoulder so she couldn't reach the fish," Mama J told Love Meow.

"I would hold the dish to keep it under her mouth so she could lick the gruel from the bowl to eat."

Later she taught Angel Bug to eat with a manual head alignment and the assistance of a stable bowl.

Angel Bug snuggles up to her Mama.

"After about a month she was climbing around her condo and wanted to explore... I would place her on the floor and follow her to assure she wouldn't bump her head and cause injury.

"She had a determined spirit. She wanted to 'look' around she explore her surroundings."

Little Angel Bug shows her humans how much she loves life and she doesn't let her disabilities stop her.

"She developed a way of waking and running that was dance like in movements and she would do in and twirl and play with her paws in the air."

She came to Mama J severely underweight and weak, but with love and determination, she has made a full 180, and even started caring for fosters in need.

One of the rescues, Jenni, is blind.

Angel Bug has taken her under her wings. They snuggle together, eat together and nap together.

Angel Bug reassures Jenni that she's loved just like what Mama J did when she was rescued.

"Everything is going to be ok!"

Today Angel Bug turned one year old! She's come such a long way since the day Mama J took her into her loving arms.

This incredible wonder cat has learned to love, trust, eat on her own, climb, explore, and even dance. She's so full of life and loves giving her Mama J snuggles and kisses.

She may not be able to see and is heard of hearing, but this little gal is happy to have been given a second chance at life. Happy Birthday Angel Bug!

Cat Born Special Tells His Human Every Day How Happy He is to be Loved

This little grey kitty was born very special. His rescuers were determined to give him the best chance at a wonderful life, and now he tells his forever human every day how happy he is to be loved.
Meet Edward the cat!

Little Edward was born at Richmond Animal Care and Control, and when he went into foster care, he met his foster mom, Megan Timberlake.

"Around the 1 pound mark we noticed his head was a little larger then normal and our veterinarian diagnosed him with hydrocephalus," Megan told Love Meow. "He struggled a little in the beginning with eating and growing but he got the hang of it."

"When I saw him of course I fell in love with him and took him home. I fostered him for a while to make sure everything was going good and we waited until he was bigger and stronger to get neutered and at that time we noticed he had entropion (which causes the eyelashes to fold inwards) so added to his neuter we had to have that surgery done also."

The vets at Prevent A Litter fixed his eyes. The little buddy healed up quickly.

"He is wonderful and very snuggly and doing fine with his hydrocephalus. He is a very lucky kitten and is having no problems with it so far. He is currently on no medications," Megan told Love Meow.

Edward is small in size but he makes up for it with his big heart.

"His personality is wonderful. He is very loving and happy and loves life."

Edward likes to snuggle and wrap around his human's head when he sleeps at night.

Edward seems to have the charm that makes every animal at ease. He is able to bond with everyone at home, furry or human kind.

"He lives with 3 cats and 3 dogs. One of his brother cats is blind (Gulliver who was also adopted by me from RACC) and that is his best friend," Megan said.

Despite his medical condition, little Edward is thriving!

He loves life so much that he's proven time and time again that nothing can slow him down.

Even after surgery, the little buddy was happy and purring when he was with his human friends.

Edward is affectionate and can't get enough of love.

"He wants me to hold him when we are watching TV and also snuggle him and scratch his neck.

"He waits for me to come home at night and gets so excited and purrs like crazy when I get home. He comes with me to work sometimes and loves for everyone to hold him and snuggle him," Megan told Love Meow.

Initially, Megan planned to foster Edward until he was big enough for adoption, but the little grey kitty never left.

"He is a complete sweetheart and I am so glad I adopted him. He follows me to every room and if he is fast asleep and I get up to go do something, he has to get up and follow me."

Edward makes sure his human knows how happy he is every day to be healthy and loved.

Homeless Persian Cat Wanders Up to Man During House Inspection, Meowing for Love

A homeless Persian cat walked up to a man during a house inspection, looking for love.

The kitty may have a grumpy face, but he is an extremely friendly fella.

Courtesy: Paul Tateosian

Paul Tateosian from Sarasota, Florida was out at a property doing an inspection when a ginger feline wandered up to him, meowing for attention.

"This cat seemingly came out of nowhere! I was at a house this past Friday for an inspection. The tenants had moved out the day before and it was just the inspector and me," Paul told Love Meow.

"When I went to the back of the house, I saw this little guy walking up to me meowing!"

Courtesy: Paul Tateosian

The kitty was all by himself with no food and water. His fur was matted and dirty, and he was skin and bones but the little guy was full of love and was so happy to see his human friends.

"He was unreal friendly and just looking for a lot of love. So I sat with him for a long while on the ground, petting his head and keeping him company."

Courtesy: Paul Tateosian

"So throughout the two hours that we were in and out of the house, I kept coming to the back to make sure he was having a good time (he seemed pretty happy to see us)."

They named him Garfield.

No one knows how long Garfield had been living on the streets, but the little guy came up to the right people that day.

He walks back to his new friends for more pets and love.

"At the end of it all, owing to the fact that the tenants were out, all their stuff was gone, and the owner had never lived in the house, the inspector decided to take him home," Paul told Love Meow.

"In Florida, alligators/hawks/eagles/owls/snakes can take these little guys in a flash and he needed a home."

No more wandering alone on the streets.

Now Garfield is in the comfort of a loving home with his forever family and is loved and spoiled like he should be.

A Japanese company in Tokyo hopes to help their employees unwind and increase productivity by adopting rescue cats into their office. In a cramped and hectic city like Tokyo, having a pet is often a luxury. Most apartments do not allow pets and residents have to visit cat cafes to get their pet fix.
The company - Ferray Corporation, an internet solutions business, has taken in nine rescue cats that have total run of the office. The kitties have become the employees purrfect stress relievers.

According to rocketnews24, the employees think the cats have been an enormous net positive. Office communication has increased dramatically. The cats have brought them together and lowered everyone's stress.

They have all grown up now. Here, one is enjoying the lap time with an employee and the other one supervises.

The company also encourages their workers to bring in their pets, so every day is Bring Your Pet to Work Day. If they don't have a pet of their own, the company pays out a monthly "cat bonus" of about $42USD to anyone who adopts a cat that needs a home.

Ferray says that the most important quality they look for in new hires is a "love of felines."
